Feathered Friends

The Fitzsimmons family made the trip down from Chicago today. Tommy and Molly helped us feed the ladies some bread. The next time they visit, there will be a fifth Fitz with them! Michelle is due near the end of April. Good luck Fitzs!

A Wander Through the Woods

Today Ander and the family went for a walk through the wild woods near our home.
A barred owl spotted us and asked, "Who hoots for you?"
"You do, of course," we responded.
We almost got run over by a dozen white-tailed deer. Boy were they in a hurry!
The trees were full of squirrels, woodpeckers, and scores of robins that had just returned for the Spring.
We saw many amazing animals, but the craziest one by far came home with us on a leash.
