Halloween Time

We're getting excited for Halloween weekend. Our pumpkins and costumes are ready!

Lazy Sunday

No alarm, we woke up easy. Made a big breakfast (eggs of course). Watched some football, hit the supermarket, changed about twenty diapers, all in all a pretty good day. Time for a nap.

Baby Bjorn is Best!

Yesterday Scott came home with a Baby Bjorn and Ander loves it (and so do we!). We immediately took a long walk through the yard and back to the creek...

and just a short walk to the mailbox today since it was drizzling...

Walk Through the Yard

It was a beautiful day; we took the boy for a walk around the front yard. Check out the garden spider we found in the raspberry vines- pretty cool.

Kerry & Erik's Visit

So nice of Kerry & Erik to make the trip down here. We opened a bottle of Dom Perignon that was given to us from a friend at Scott's work to celebrate Ander - what a rare treat! Cheers!

It turned out to be such a beautiful day that we also introduced Ander to the chickens...

DAY 2 with Daddy back at work

Today is going much better than yesterday. Ander is sleeping more regularly today and I actually did a load of dishes AND laundry (and Lincoln is doing much better too). We all miss Daddy though...

Burpin' the Baby

Happy 2 week birthday!

Today Ander is 2 weeks old and his umbilical cord finally fell off (good riddance!).

Walkabout

Today we took the whole fam for a car ride out to the local apple orchard. Then we came home and walked back to our little creek to take in the fall colors. We even bought a home-grown pumpkin from a neighbor, so now we're ready for Autumn.

Arwen & Tommy

Arwen visited today with Tommy and we had a great time - despite all of the messes we made (spit up, and a few diaper blow-outs resulting in doing a load of laundry). It was an afternoon well spent...Thanks for visiting Arwen!

Everyone loves Ander!

We've had so many visitors in Ander's short lifetime:

On Saturday, 10/3/09: Mom, Larry, Cheryl, John, Emily and Nathan visited.

Thanks for making the trip down here! We loved having everyone and wish we were a bit closer...

Leaving the hospital

Thanks to the car seat Cyndi gave us, we headed home comfortably on 9/29/09 around 6:30pm.

Last Weekend

Dad's last weekend at home before going back to work...it went by too fast.
Mom babysitted alone for the first time today so Dad could go to the football game. Thanks Mom!

On 9/28/09, my water broke at 1am; we headed to the hospital at 3am. At 8am they gave me petocin and I began to feel labor pains pretty quickly. At 11am they gave me the epidural & at 11:45am began pushing. He made his debut at 12:22pm!

Ander Wabash was born at 12:22 pm on a sunny, fall Monday.
He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and had a little tuft of blond hair on the top of his head.
His first day on the planet was spent mostly sleeping; he cried when his dad gave him a bath, but soon fell back asleep in mom's arms.
